Using a mould taken directly from your baby bump, we create a handcrafted ceramic keepsake that preserves your unique pregnancy shape and transforms it into a lasting piece of art.
Unlike pregnancy casts, your bowl is finished as a durable ceramic piece designed to be displayed, held, and treasured for years to come. Individually handmade in a 1:1 appointment, each bowl is completely unique to your pregnancy journey.
How it works
1. Buy your Belly Bowl.
Either purchase through our Belly Bowl product listing, and we'll follow up each of your next steps via email. Or, you can purchase a gift card and let your pregnant loved one book in their experience.
2. Book your session.
Belly bowls can be taken at any point in pregnancy, but for a nice round bowl, we recommend organising your appointment for 32-37 weeks.
3. Attend your moulding session.
The moulding process is simple, safe, and takes approximately 30 minutes. To ensure the best possible result, two impressions are taken during the appointment so we can select the strongest and most detailed mould for your final keepsake.

4. Personalisation.
During the session, you may add names, dates, messages, baby details, or other meaningful impressions and inscriptions. Choose from classic white, soft pink tones, soft blue tones, or discuss other custom colour options with us.
5. Drying and Firing.
Like all handmade ceramics, the piece goes through slow drying, bisque firing, glazing, and a final glaze firing. This process cannot be rushed and is what gives the finished bowl its strength and durability.
6. Collection.
Once completed, your Pregnancy Belly Bowl can be collected from the studio or at the Agnes Water Markets when we next attend.
