This handcrafted ceramic mug is a sculptural interpretation of ocean movement and the coastline.

The base is carved with irregular, rock-like cut-outs using a curette technique, finished in a natural sandy glaze that gives the piece a grounded, earthy foundation. A bold, raised dark blue wave encircles the mug, sculpted directly from the clay and designed to feel like a moment of motion suspended in time. Above this, the upper glaze shifts into a deep dark teal, adding richness and depth that enhances the contrast between sand, sea, and sky.
 
Each mug is individually made in Australia, with subtle variations that highlight its handmade nature.
