Let’s get ourselves in a spin and shape some smooth clay creations!

Wheel-Throwing-Workshop

The Wheel Throwing Workshop is perfect for beginners

In this 2-hour workshop, you’ll have the chance to explore how to shape clay on the wheel. With hands-on support as you learn, you’ll feel confident to give it a go!

Generous limits

By the end of the workshop, we're confident you'll have created many mugs (without handles) and bowls you'll love.

You'll choose your favourites - up to 5 - and we'll take care of the next steps before they'll be ready for you to use daily.

During the Workshop

This workshop is beginner-friendly, so even if you've never played with clay you'll be completely supported in your making. Johanna will model the skills on a wheel, then you'll each have your own to use for the workshop.

With hands-on support to help you with each step of throwing and shaping the clay, you'll get the hang of it. At the end of the workshop you'll leave us a note about glazing your creations.

After the Workshop

We will take care of the trimming, drying, bisque fire, glazing, and glaze firing processes. In 3-4 weeks’ time, your stunning creations will be ready to collect from our market in Agnes Water.

If you’re just visiting and looking for things to do in Agnes Water on holidays, simply cover the postage and we will happily arrange shipping of your items.
