Textured Wave Mug Light Blue
This sculptural ceramic mug is inspired by the movement of the shoreline, where rock meets tide and colour shifts with light. The base is hand-carved with irregular, rocky cut-outs in a warm sandy glaze, giving a natural, weathered texture that feels shaped by the coast itself.
A bold, raised wave in deep ocean blue wraps completely around the mug, formed directly from the clay and shaped by hand to create a sense of motion frozen in time. Above this, the glaze transitions into a soft light blue, evoking open sky and calm horizon tones above the ocean’s edge.
Each mug is individually handmade in Australia, with natural variations in texture, carving, and glaze flow.
