Service Description
Join us for our original Handbuilding Pottery Workshop where you can make your own functional ceramic products to love and appreciate for years to come! Our Handbuilding Workshop is the ideal entry to the world of clay, yet equally as enjoyable for those who’ve already played. This clay workshop will teach you to create your own ceramics from our earthy, speckled clay. Unlike other classes, we won’t limit your creativity. By keeping our classes small, we can help everyone create something they will love. Here are some ideas, based on creations our guests have already made: • Mugs • Vases • Coasters We have the clay, stamps, stencils, and tools you need to bring your custom creation to life. And of course, we’ll teach you everything you need to know so that you feel confident in the process! Important Workshop Information: • Duration: 2hrs 10am -12 noon • Location: Kollective Home and Gifts in Bundaberg, QLD 2024 Workshop Dates: • Sat 27 April • Sat 22 June • Sat 10 August • Sat 26 October After our time together: We will take care of the trimming, drying, bisque fire, white glazing, and glaze firing processes. One month later, we'll bring your finished pieces back to be collected from Kollective Home and Gifts. If you’re just visiting Bundaberg, simply cover the postage and we will happily arrange shipping. For anyone looking to dive into the creative, our pottery workshops are the perfect thing to do in Bundaberg! Workshop Information: When you purchase, you will automatically receive your ticket confirmation document, where you will find our address and information to help you know what to expect for your session. Gift Certificates: Buying this as a gift? Simply process the booking and in the checkout, leave us a note with the recipient’s name. We’ll send you a personalised gift certificate so that you have something to give them. Your booking is secure at purchase, but please allow 1-2 days for us to send the e-certificate. Or, choose an eGift Card for immediate voucher delivery. Make the time to slow down and reconnect through clay. You might just surprise yourself within your play. Cancellation Policy
If you can't make your workshop due to unexpected illness, you can transfer your place to a friend or join a future workshop where you can be accommodated. We appreciate you swapping your service wherever possible, but if you are travelling and need a refund we can chat. In the case of rain, the workshop will be moved to our undercover patio. If there is a storm, we will be in contact, as the workshop will need to be postponed. You will have the option to transfer your session date, gift the workshop to a friend or if you need it, a refund. We appreciate your support in rescheduling whenever possible. For our regular workshops: Child discounts are strictly applicable to one child ticket discounted per adult ticket purchased. Coupon misuse can result in your booking being cancelled. Please note: our Children's Pottery Workshops are exclusively for kids, therefore there is no discount for these classes. They have been priced accordingly. Clay Club Members are welcome to use their exclusive discount to rebook the same workshop they have previously attended.
