OVERVIEW: ​Looking for a natural, sensory play activity for your children to enjoy? Visit us for a Children's Pottery Workshop this September School Holidays! We’ll guide the children to experiment with clay, helping them to express their creativity and develop their fine motor skills. • Price includes both sessions • Sat 16 Sept 2023, 2-3pm, Clay Shaping • Friday 29 Sept 2023, 2-3pm, Glazing • Pick up the glaze fired pieces from Sunday 1 October DETAILS: On their 1st visit, the children will be taught developmentally appropriate clay techniques, so that they can shape their piece and apply stamp impressions. The clay needs time to dry between sessions. At their 2nd session, the children can decorate their pieces with glazes. We’ll glaze-fire their creations and you'll be able to collect their creations 1 week later. That's right, your children will be able to enjoy and use their clay creations! CREATIONS: Older children are likely to be able to form a more functional, elaborate piece. Younger children will likely create simple pieces or animal creations. We think all are valuable expressions of their creativity. If you have a teenager who'd like to create, we'd love to host them at one of our regular clay workshops where their skills will be more suitably challenged. IMPORTANT: While we do have a Blue Card, we request that parents/guardians stay on-site during the workshop. We do have animals on-site, including a few friendly dogs, horses, ponies, ducks and more! They are friendly, but as always, gentle hands and supervision are required.
Cancellation Policy
If you can't make your workshop due to unexpected illness, you can transfer your place to a friend or join a future workshop where you can be accommodated. We appreciate you swapping your service wherever possible, but if you are travelling and need a refund we can chat. In the case of rain, the workshop will be moved to our undercover patio. If there is a storm, we will be in contact, as the workshop will need to be postponed. You will have the option to transfer your session date, gift the workshop to a friend or if you need it, a refund. We appreciate your support in rescheduling whenever possible. For our regular workshops: Child discounts are strictly applicable to one child ticket discounted per adult ticket purchased. Coupon misuse can result in your booking being cancelled. Please note: our Children's Pottery Workshops are exclusively for kids, therefore there is no discount for these classes. They have been priced accordingly. Clay Club Members are welcome to use their exclusive discount to rebook the same workshop they have previously attended.
