Inspired by treasures found along the shoreline, this handmade ceramic mug features a beautifully detailed shell pattern impressed into the clay using a texture roller. The same shell texture continues onto the handle, creating a cohesive design that can be enjoyed from every angle.
Thrown on the pottery wheel in my small Queensland studio, each mug is individually shaped, textured, glazed, and finished by hand. The application of the shell pattern gently influences the shape of the mug, creating a soft organic form that is intentionally not perfectly round—making every piece wonderfully unique.
The textured surface adds both visual interest and a lovely tactile feel, bringing a touch of the ocean to your daily tea or coffee ritual.

As every mug is handmade, slight variations in shape, texture, and glaze are part of its unique character and charm.
